Ineos renews agreement with BP for acetic acid supplies to VAM plant in UK

Ineos says it has renewed an agreement with BP for the supply of acetic acid feedstock to Ineos's vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant at the Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull, UK. BP operates an acetic acid unit at the Saltend site. The agreement secures the supply of acetic acid and services, and helps maintain the international competitiveness of the Saltend VAM plant, Ineos says.
