Syngenta Secures Double-Digit Sales and Earnings Growth in the First Half

Syngenta recorded first-half Ebitda up 12%, to $2.1 billion compared with the same period one year earlier, on corresponding sales up 14%, to $7.7 billion. The group's crop protection division achieved first-half sales up 13%, to $5.6 billion compared with the same period one year ago, and the seeds division achieved sales up 19%, to $2.1 billion. Net income for the group increased 14% in the first half compared with one year ago, to $1.4 billion.
