Sika's Profits Impacted by Exchange Rates and Raw Material Prices

Construction chemicals company Sika (Baar, Switzerland) says net profits in full-year 2011 decreased 30.8% year over year, to SF214.8 million ($237.6 million). Ebitda and Ebit also went down 17.2% and 21% in full-year 2011, to SF477.4 million and SF347.1 million, respectively, Sika says. Sales were SF4.56 billion in full-year 2011, 3.2% up compared with SF4.42 billion in full-year 2010, the company says.
