Sika achieves record results for 2013, including net profit up 23.8%

Sika (Baar, Switzerland) says it achieved record results in all areas for full-year 2013. The company announced a 23.8% increase in net profit, to a record 344.7 million Swiss francs ($391 million), and an increase in sales of 9.4%—6.5% in Swiss francs—to SF5.14 billion. Ebitda was SF675.9 million, compared with SF573.1 million a year ago, or +17.9%. Earnings per share rose to SF135.27, compared with SF109.95 in the year-ago period, an increase of 23%.
