Lonza and Human Genome Sciences Sign Manufacturing Agreement

Lonza says it has entered into an agreement with Human Genome Sciences (HGS; Rockville, MD) for the future commercial supply of Benlysta (belimumab), which is currently under regulatory review in the U.S. and Europe as a potential new treatment for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
