Ineos Reports a Decline in Third-Quarter Ebitda

Ineos says that, "based on unaudited management information," its third-quarter 2011 Ebitda was €371 million. The figure is 20% lower than Ebitda posted by Ineos in the third quarter of 2010 and 36% below the company's reported Ebitda in the second quarter of 2011. Sales were not disclosed. "Global economic and political turbulence has created hesitancy in many markets, leading to a softening in demand in a number of sectors toward the end of the third quarter," Ineos says.
