Europe Clears Ineos's Acquisition of Tessenderlo PVC Business

The European Commission has cleared a proposed acquisition of the suspension polyvinyl chloride (S-PVC) business of the Tessenderlo Group by Ineos. The commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not significantly modify the structure of the affected markets. Ineos earlier this year agreed to buy the S-PVC and part of Tessenderlo’s organic chlorine derivatives business for €110 million ($159.7 million).
