Regions :: Western Europe :: Switzerland Clariant's Results Beat Forecasts, Boosted by Süd-Chemie; Divestments Considered7:38 AM MST | February 15, 2012 | Ian Young Clariant posted a 42% rise in fourth-quarter 2011 Ebitda before exceptional items, compared with the year-earlier period, to SF241 million on sales up 13%, to SF1.92 billion. The results were boosted by the inclusion of Süd-Chemie, which Clariant acquired last year. The Ebitda figure beat analysts' forecasts of SF200 million-SF210 million and the sales figure was higher than analysts' estimates of SF1.8 billion-SF1.9 billion.
