Clariant's Quarterly Results Rise on Improved Demand and Higher Selling Prices

Clariant's third-quarter sales and profits rose compared to the year-ago period because of solid demand, higher selling prices, and cost reduction programs that were already in place. Net income soared to SF109 million ($111 million), including a one-time benefit of SF45 million, compared to income of SF25 million.
