The restructuring will cost about SF150 million ($149 million), which will be booked mostly in 2009 and 2010, Clariant says. The job cuts are in addition to the more than 2,000 cuts the company had announced earlier this year. The restructuring costs are part of SF200 million-SF300 million in restructuring charges that Clariant has already announced. Pigment plants will close at Huningue, France and Frankfurt.
