Clariant CEO’s Departure Surprises Some Analysts

The departure of Clariant CEO Jan Secher came as a surprise to some analysts because the company is in the process of a sweeping restructuring aimed at reducing costs and boosting selling prices (CW, Sept. 1/8, p. 9).
