Clariant Announces New Board

Clariant says its board of directors will propose to the annual general meeting, due to be held on April 10, to elect Dominik Koechlin, Hariolf Kottmann, and Carlo G. Soave to the borad of directors. The board plans to appoint Jurg Witmer as chairman and Rudolf Wehrli as vice chairman. Roland Losser, Clarian't current chairman, is stepping down for personal reasons. Tony Reis, Clariant's vice chairman, will retire from the board and Kajo Neukirchen, member of the board of directors, will not stand for re-election.
