Atlas Copco completes acquisition of BASF’s Meyco business

Atlas Copco (Stockholm) says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of BASF’s Meyco equipment business based at Winterthur, Switzerland. Atlas Copco announced in December 2012 that it agreed to purchase Meyco. Meyco’s products include carrier-mounted concrete spraying equipment, concrete spraying arms, pumps, and dosing units, mainly for underground operations. The business employs about 45 people.
