Perstorp to Build Aliphatic Isocyanates Plant in China

 Perstorp (Perstorp, Sweden) says it will build a new aliphatic polyisocyanates manufacturing plant at a yet to be disclosed location in China. The plant will be designed for 12,000 m.t./year and will begin production in 2012 serving the growing market in Asia. Perstorp will make a site selection in the next six months and will begin construction in 2011. The company operates a polyols plant at Zibo, China, producing trimethylol propane.
