Perstorp Builds NPG Capacity in China (Updated)

Perstorp (Perstorp, Sweden) says it will build production capacity for neopentyl glycol (NPG) at the company’s manufacturing site at Zibo, China. NPG production at Zibo is expected to start in the second half of 2012, and the new capacity will be established through Perstorp’s joint venture Shandong Fufeng Perstorp Chemical. Perstorp had acquired the NPG manufacturing business of Zibo Linzi Yongliu Chemical Industry Stock Co. (Zibo, China) at the end of 2007.
