ECHA committees restrict nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylates in textiles

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says that its committee for risk assessment (RAC) has adopted an opinion on a Swedish restriction proposal on nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylates under the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) regulations.
