Arkema and Omya enter plastic additives distribution agreement in Europe

Omya and Arkema today announced an agreement under which Omya will market Arkema's plastic additives range for various polymer markets, including impact modifier and processing aid solutions, across Europe except for Spain and Portugal. The agreement covers Plastistrength, which helps in the processing of polyvinyl chloride (PVC); Durastrength and Clearstrength impact modifiers used in PVC and polycarbonate and its main alloys; and Biostrength, impact modifiers designed to improve the performance of biopolymers, such as polylactic acid.
