Regions :: Western Europe :: Spain Technip Awarded Deals in China and Spain10:39 AM MDT | July 25, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Technip has been awarded a contract by Liaoning Huajin Chemicals (Panjin, China) to build a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Panjin. The 300,000-m.t./year HDPE plant is due to be completed at the end of 2008 and commissioned in March 2009. It will use Ineos’s Innovene S technology. Separately, Technip has been awarded a contract to build a €60-million ($83 million) hydrogen plant at Cepsa’s (Madrid) refinery at Huelva, Spain.
