Renewable Energy Center of Spain Selects AdvanceBio for Biomass R&D Equipment

Spain's National Renewable Energy Centre (Cener) has selected AdvanceBio LLC's (Spartanburg, SC) SuPR2G bench scale pretreatment reactor to conduct basic research and development work for the production of fermentable sugars from lignocellulose rich biomass feedstocks. The SuPR2G system will hydrolyze a range of agricultural feedstocks as sugarcane, bagasse, corn stover, and switchgrass. The primary research at Cener will be on wheat, straw, and poplar chips.
