IMCD Buys Warwick International's Distribution Business

Chemical distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam) has agreed to acquire the chemical distribution business of Warwick International (Mostyn, U.K.) consisting of assets in France, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain, as well as Malaysia. The deal is due to close at the end of this month. Terms were not disclosed. The acquired business distributes a range of specialty chemicals and generates sales of about €80 million/year.
