Cristian Lay acquires La Seda EO-EG and PET assets in Spain

La Seda de Barcelona's (El Prat de Llobregat, Spain) assets at El Prat and Tarragona, Spain have been acquired by Cristian Lay (Jerez de los Caballeros, Spain), Cristian Lay announced today. The deal was valued at about €16 million ($22 million) in addition to existing inventory and amounts pledged for investments. The sale was first reported in February this year. La Seda's ethylene oxide (EO) and ethylene glycol (EG) production  at Tarragona, previously operated by the Industrias Quimicas Asociadas LSB subsidiary, was acquired by Industrias...
