Metabolix Signs PHA Supply Deal

Metabolix (Cambridge, MA) says it signed a letter of intent with Antibioticos S.A. for the toll production of biobased polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) at Antiobioticos’ Leon, Spain facility, a deal it calls a "significant step" toward establishing a new supply chain for its PHA-based Mirel biopolymers.
