Regions :: Western Europe :: Netherlands Private Equity Firm to Buy BASF Printing Inks Business in the Netherlands6:53 AM MDT | March 15, 2012 | Ian Young Private equity firm Quantum Kapital (St. Gallen, Switzerland) plans to acquire BASF's IMEX offset printing inks business based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The proposed deal covers all of BASF's offset printing inks activities including 57 employees at Maastricht. Quantum plans to maintain the IMEX business at the Maastricht site. The transaction is due to close in the third quarter of 2012. Financial terms were not disclosed.
