DSM's Third Quarter Sales and Earnings Slide; Optimistic for Rest of the Year

DSM's continuing operations showed a 29% drop to €257 million ($379.2 million) in profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) in the third quarter of this year on sales 14% lower at €2.02 billion. Earnings before interest and tax (Ebit) was 41% lower at €139 million compared with the year-ago period.
