DSM to Increase Polymer Capacity in the Netherlands

DSM says that it will quadruple the production capacity for its new polymer, sold under the Stanyl ForTii brand name, at the company’s facility at Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands. The capacity expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2009. With this move, DSM aims to meet the market demand for the polymer, which is mainly used in electronics applications. Stanyl ForTii is a halogen-free, flame-retardant, high-temperature polyamide.
