DSM to Announce New Growth Strategy on Thursday

DSM will announced a new growth plan this Thursday, replacing its Vision 2010 strategy, which focused on the company's transformation from a commodity player to a higher value-added chemicals producer focusing on life sciences, including nutrition and pharma, and performance materials, grouped under material science. The company, under the current plan, which itself built on its Vision 2005 strategy, divested its petrochemicals and commodity plastics operations as well as fertilizers and melamine units; swapped its polycarbonate business for Mitsubishi Chemical's...
