DSM opens manufacturing plant for antireflective coating in Netherlands

DSM says it has opened a new manufacturing plant at Geleen, Netherlands, for the production of the company’s KhepriCoat antireflective coating. KhepriCoat antireflective glass coating is a product developed by the DSM Innovation Center. The coating is primarily targeted at solar applications; the coating is applied on the cover glass of solar modules and reduces the reflection of sunlight, and the result is an increase in the energy output of these modules by up to 4%, DSM says.
