DSM says it will reorganize its manufacturing and services actitivies at the Chemelot industry park in Geleen, the Netherlands as it prepares its previously announced divestment program, which will transform the company into a life sciences and materials sciences organization under its Vision 2010 strategy. The company plans to divest its fertilizers, melamine and elastomers manufacturing assets, as well as its Stamicarbon urea licensing activities, with combined 2007 sales of more than €1.2 billion ($1.86 billion), accounting for more than 14% of DSM's...
