DSM Eyes Large-Scale, Bio-Succinic Acid Production

DSM says it is nearing a decision to produce commercial volumes of a series of chemicals, including succinic acid, derived from bio-based raw materials. The company is joining with food ingredients firm Roquette (Lestrem, France) to build a bio-succinic acid pilot plant at Lestrem to test DSM’s technology.
