DSM Carves Out Dyneema as a Separate Entity...

DSM says it plans to carve out its Dyneema fibers business into a separate legal entity, and that on January 1 it created a separate business group for Dyneema within its Performance Materials business operation. DSM says the move is part of its “Vision 2010” strategy to accelerate its transformation into a life science and materials company and that it is making the move for reasons of “transparency.” DSM says its Dyneema unit “fits very well” into that strategy.
