AkzoNobel opens research lab in Netherlands

AkzoNobel says it has opened a new center for research at the company’s Sassenheim site, in the Netherlands. The lab, together with the research centers at Slough, UK, and Singapore, is now one of the main research centers for AkzoNobel's decorative paints portfolio. The new facility will focus on research into decorative paints, wood adhesives, and predeco products, while Slough will concentrate more on wall paints, AkzoNobel says.
