Akzo Details Charges for ICI Acquisition

Akzo Nobel says it expects to take a pre-tax charge of €44 million ($70.22 million) during the first quarter related to its acquisition of ICI late last year. During the period of 2008-10, the company expects charges related to the ICI buy of approximately €125 million-€130 million. These charges are in addition to the €146 million that Akzo reported last year.
