Jacobs Awarded Contract for Sabic Olefins Upgrade

Jacobs Engineering says it has received an engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services contract from Sabic, to support the upgrade of the Olefins 4 plant at Sabic's petrochemical production complex at Geleen, the Netherlands. The project will take place during a scheduled plant turnaround and is expected to be completed in 2013, Jacobs says. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
