Yara to Restart Urea and Ammonia Production in Italy

Yara International says it will restart production of urea and ammonia at its Ferrara, Italy facility in February, following improved market conditions. Yara temporarily stopped production at the facility last November due to poor profitability. “The decision to restart production is related to the general improvements in the international urea markets and the specific situation in Italy with increased seasonal demand,” Yara says.
