Sumitomo Corp. Forms Capital Alliance with Italian Agchem Firm

Sumitomo Corp. (Tokyo) says its Sumi Agro Europe (SAE; London)subsidiary, which is engaged in the sale of agchems, has formed a strategic capital alliance with Sipcam (Milan), a leading agchem manufacturer, by mutually acquiring 10% of the outstanding shares of their newly established holding companies - Sumi Agro Ltd. (SAL; London)and Sipcam Europe (Milan).
