Regions :: Western Europe :: Italy Sabic Boosts Polycarbonate Sheet Output in Europe12:11 PM MST | November 9, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Sabic Innovative Plastics says it will boost capacity of its Lexan polycarbonate sheets at Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands; Milan; and Vienna. The expansions will help Sabic meet “growing demand” for Lexan’s structural glazing, roofing, signage, and other applications primarily in Eastern Europe, including Russia. The additional capacity is due onstream by the third quarter of 2008. Lexan is a range of specialty sheet systems, and multi-wall and solid sheet products.
