PolymerLatex Adds Capacity in Italy and Malaysia

PolymerLatex (Marl, Germany) says it plans to expand capacity for carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene copolymers (X-NBR) by a combined 120,000 m.t./year with projects in Italy and Malaysia. The company will add 20,000 m.t./year of capacity at its Filago, Italy X-NBR plant for completion in the first quarter of 2008, and construct a 100,000-m.t./year X-NBR plant at Johor Baru, Malaysia in the third quarter of 2009.
