Novamont, Genomatica form Joint Venture for European BioBDO Production

Novamont (Novara, Italy) and Genomatica (San Diego, CA) say they have signed a definitive agreement establishing a joint venture between the two companies. Novamont will have a majority of equity in the new jv. The companies' previously disclosed plan to build and operate the first industrial plant for biobutanediol (bioBDO) in Europe will be the primary activity of the jv.
