Matrìca commissions green chemistry complex at Porto Torres

A new green chemistry complex was inaugurated at Porto Torres, Italy on Monday by Matrìca, an equally owned joint venture between Versalis (Milan), ENI’s chemicals subsidiary, and Novamont (Novara, Italy), a producer of bioplastics. It will be one of the largest such facilities when fully operational in 2017. The ceremony was attended by Daniele Ferrari, CEO of Versalis, Catia Bastioli, managing director of Matrìca and Italy’s environment minister Gian Luca Galletti.
