DSM Reports Fatal Accident at its Italian Fermentation Site

 A fatal accident took place at DSM's Capua, Italy site on September 11. Three contractors died while conducting regular maintenance work in the fermentation facilities, DSM says. The cause of the accident is not yet known, the company says.  The accident occurred during regular maintenance activities in one of two fermentation units, normally used to manufacture food ingredients and enzymes.
