Camlin Fine Chemicals Acquires Borregaard Italy

Camlin Fine Chemicals (Mumbai) informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (Mumbai) that it has completed the acquisition of Borregaard Italy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Camlin had announced in November 2010 that its board of directors has approved the proposal to acquire an Italian fine chemicals manufacturer. Borregaard Italy is one of the five global producers of hydroquinone, which is the key raw material for a major product of Camlin.
