Agrium Buys Italian Fertilizer Distributor

 Agrium says it has acquired fertilizer distribution company CerealToscana (Livorno, Italy) for $27 million, plus working capital. The deal includes Agroport, CerealToscana's Romanian subsidiary.  CerealToscana and Agroport have combined gross sales of about $200 million, and an average Ebitda of $8 million during the past three years before expected synergies. The combined companies have combined storage of 90,000 m.t., with key distribution assets in Livorno and Ravenna, Italy as well as along the Danube in Romania, Agrium says. The companies sell...
