Wacker Posts Fourth-Quarter Loss, Sales Dip on Weak Solar, Electronics Demand

Wacker Chemie, in its preliminary report on fourth-quarter 2011 results, reported a net loss of €85 million ($110 million) compared with a €99.9 million net profit in the year earlier period. Sales were 16% lower at €1.01 billion.
