VCI Says Chemicals Output Will Stagnate in Germany This Year

German chemical industry association VCI (Frankfurt) has downgraded its 2012 forecasts and says that output of chemicals will stagnate in Germany this year with 0% growth expected. VCI had previously forecast 1% growth in chemicals production for 2012. VCI also predicts 1% growth in sales of chemicals by Germany-based operations in 2012, having previously forecast 2% growth.
