ThyssenKrupp combines plant technology capabilities, Uhde name disappears

ThyssenKrupp announced today that it is combining its plant technology businesses, including Uhde, Polysius and Fördertechnik, under the ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (Essen, Germany) umbrella making it one of the world’s leading engineering and construction firms. The company says that the new firm will be able to exploit global market opportunities better than it did under the separate companies.
