Three miners dead in accident at K+S potash site

Three miners died at K+S's (Kassel, Germany) potash mine at Unterbreizbach, Germany, on 1 October after a blasting operation caused a carbon dioxide leak, the company says. Seven miners initially went missing, four of whom were rescued by a mine rescue team. Two of these miners are still receiving medical treatment, K+S says.
