However, third-quarter production levels were 2.5% higher than in the corresponding period of 2010. The quarter-on-quarter decline reflects destocking by customers as a result of the global economic slowdown and concerns over the euro-zone debt crisis, VCI says. VCI expects a stronger fourth quarter for Germany's chemical industry as inventory depletion comes to an end. The association maintained its forecast...
