Regions :: Western Europe :: Germany Symrise Extends Collective Agreement with Employees in Germany Until 202011:03 AM MST | January 12, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas The board of Symrise, a flavors and fragrances producer; and the Mining, Chemical, and Energy Industrial Union (IG BCE; Hanover, Germany) have signed an extended collective agreement. The new agreement aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Symrise's German sites and ensure sufficient numbers of qualified personnel for the company in the long term. It extends an employment guarantee for Symrise's German sites from 2016 until the end of 2020. Employees have agreed to give up "some salary increases" as part of the agreement.
