However, chemical production was 5.7% higher in the second quarter than in the corresponding quarter of 2010, VCI adds. VCI considers the dip in output during the second quarter to be a "growth pause" after an "extremely strong" first quarter, partly reflecting statistical effects and fewer working days, and it says the overall trend remains upward despite stalling growth in the global...
