Linde to Build Europe's Largest on-Site Fluorine Plant

Linde Gases, a Linde subsidiary, has announced plans to build Europe's largest on-site fluorine production unit. The fluorine plant will be built at the Grossröhrsdorf, Germany production site of Schüco TF, Germany's largest manufacturer of thin-film silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules. The announcement follows the signing of a long-term fluorine supply contract between Linde and Schüco TF. Grossröhrsdorf is Schüco's second manufacturing faciity.
